I do apologize if I placed this board under the wrong topic, but out of all the possibilities, I thought this was most fitting.
Does anyone happen to know where I can find an accessible copy of the health care bill that apparently just recently passed? I'm getting sick of trusting opinionated people for information; I just want to read it myself. I know it's long and unbearable, and half the poloticians don't even wanna read it, but I feel like I should so I can form proper opinions.
Thanks,
Sarah
PS. Feel free to share opinions about health care here if you want. I think it's an interesting topic.
Oh, and I also apologize if I'm bringing something up that people have already read about over and over again. I should have searched boards first before posting. Sorry guys.
cnn.com?
It's all over the news as well. If you watch or listen to the news, chances are, you'll hear about it sooner or later.
ive already heard about it. i wanted an actual copy... i think id have to be pretty, um, special to have not heard about it lol. i just want to be able to form my own educated opinions about it instead of listening to media sources who are inevitably going to be biased. if no one has any suggestions thats ok though.
It's funny. I don't read/watch american news and yet, because of The Zone, I got sucked into this and keep responding to all these boards. lol Gotta read my news now actually. There's a similar debate going on in Greece now with a new tax bill and economic measures...
I'll admit, I've had a hard time finding any information without bias. Perhaps google something like: "Official Health Care Reform Bill".
In the spirit of Thomas Jefferson, legislative information from the Library of Congress can be found on: www.loc.gov/thomas.
The direct link to the health care bill is:
